Our campus is on the Southern California coast in Irvine, ranked the safest city of its size for 16 consecutive years and home to many multinational industry leaders. All doctoral students are guaranteed a place in one of 7 housing communities, and more than half choose to live on campus. The UCI Childcare Center provides quality childcare for student, staff and faculty families. UC Irvine offers more than 40 campus clubs and organizations for graduate students, from student government to diversity-focused and professional groups. Aldrich Park, a 19-acre botanical garden, is the centerpiece of campus. The Anteater Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides diverse sports, lifestyle and fitness activities that embrace personal wellness and social communities. Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Disneyland are all within a half-hour drive.
